Solving hard problems can be fun

My priority is to help empower people and organizations by equipping them with the resources and data they need to build Community-Led organizations. I love building places and products that bring people joy, and I thrive in environments where I can create structure from chaos.

I accidentally stumbled into the community world in the early 2000s, when I decided it sounded like a good idea to become a guild leader for a MMORPG. That passion for connecting people online evolved into a full-time career when I joined reddit to build community as one of their first hires, and I’ve stuck around the industry ever since.

Over the past decade+, I’ve worked with companies across all sorts of industries helping them discover the true value that a thriving community can bring to an organization. I have extensive experience in community and business strategy, product development, building teams, and leadership.

When I’m not building and maintaining communities professionally, I’m cultivating my personal communities dedicated to knitting, beer, cats, and really intricate nail art.
